This series appeared 150 years after the birth of the military photo reportage. Thanks to the first British military photojournalist Roger Fenton, we can visually touch the half-forgotten events of the Crimean or Russian-Turkish war, the "war of gentlemen" or, as it was also called, the "rehearsal of the First World War".
